Day 285- Doing the Father’s will.!!!

Doing the Father’s will.!!!
For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”……. John 6:38 -40
In our last study, we looked at how all of that the Father has given to us will come to us. We also see the truth that all that Jesus will never cast all those who come to Him away no matter how great a Sinner they are. And the more we become like Jesus, the more we will never cast those who come to us away. Today we shall continue my looking at how Jesus lived on Earth as a Man.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.: This is the only verse in the Scriptures that Jesus tells us why He came from Heaven. There are many who think that Jesus came from Heaven just to Die for the Sins of the world. But if You ask Jesus, He will say, “Dying was just part of the Father’s will.” When Jesus was in Heaven, He could do his own will because His will was the same as the Father’s will. When He was in Heaven, He could say, “I do my own will because it is the same as my father’s will. But here when He came to Earth in our Flesh. And one of the biggest characteristics of our Flesh is that it has a strong attraction to self will which is contrary to the will of God. So when Jesus came in the Flesh, He took upon himself that self will in our Flesh also. But He denied that self will. He did not yield to it. This is the Cross Jesus bore all through his life. This is the Cross he asks us to bear also. Denying the Flesh and doing the Father’s will. This must also be our goal and our Longing. We must be able to say, “I Have come from Heaven not to do my own will but to deny it and do the Father’s will”. Our self will is the origin of all Sin. And it is good to recognize that we will never become spiritual if we don’t deny it and put it to death.
This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.: Those that have acknowledged their Sins will find out that the Father has given them to Jesus and they will never be lost. This is the will of the Father. Jesus is able to keep us from falling.
And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.: Jesus is going to raise me up on the last day if I am one of those who has been given to him by the Father. God wants me and you to see the glory of Jesus Christ. He wants us to respond to Him. He wants us to believe Jesus so that we might become partakers of eternal life which is the life of God. Only those who have spent their lives doing the will of the Father and seeking after eternal life will be raised up on the last day. Let us therefore make it out aim and ambition to partake of eternal life as we deny our own will to do the Father’s will.
Dear friend, there is a will of the Father you have come to do here on Earth and before you can do it, you have to deny your own will and put it to death. Are you willing to deny your own will? This is the only way to become spiritual. This is the way to prove your love for Jesus. Are you ready to deny your own will? May the Lord give us Grace and power to put our own self will to death in Jesus name(Amen). God bless you. Have a blessed day.
