Day 284 – Given by the Father!!!

Given by the Father!!!
All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out…… John 6:37
In our previous studies, We were considering Jesus teachings on Himself as the bread of life that quenches every Hunger and thirst. Today, we shall continue in our study by looking at some more fundamental Truths that came out of the mouth of Jesus Christ.
All that the Father gives Me will come to Me,  : There are many application of this particular statement of Jesus but let us consider a few. Firstly, we must recognize that it was the Father that drew us first before we can come to Jesus. It is a tremendous Grace of God that we have been drawn to Christ. We cannot take credit for it. It is not because of our Goodness or because we had a natural desire after God that we found Christ. It is simply because God in his great mercy reached out to us and drew us to Christ so that ALL the Glory goes to God. Why is it that people who are far better than you and me are not drawn to Christ? Is God partial? Definitely not!!! There is no partiality with God. The Grace of God has appeared to the whole world. It is not the will of God that anyone should perish. There is a reason. It is because they are not willing to acknowledged their sins. No one can come to Christ if He or she has not acknowledge his or her Sinful condition. No one can come to Christ without taken the position of a wretches Sinner. But the one who acknowledges his Sins will come to Christ quickly. The one who recognizes his helplessness will come to Christ quickly.
Another thing we can learn is that if we are in the ministry, we don’t have to be in competition with others. Jesus was not in competition with the Pharisees or with anybody else. He was not even in competition with another Man of God which is John the Baptist. This was because He knew that all that the Father gives to Him shall come to Him. The father has allotted certain people to be influenced by our ministry. And those people will be the one to come to us. If that is the case, then why do we lust and covet those in others ministry that the Father has not given to us? The Father has got other servants in his vineyard and maybe some of those other believers have been allotted to another Servant of God. We should never covet them. We must let God distributes ministries as He determines. And also distributes believers to each ministries as He wish. If we believe this, we will never have competitive Spirit in anything. We should rejoice when we see that the Father has given another person a sheep to be Shepherd by Him. We should therefore be able to say like Jesus, “That whatever the Father has given to me, either job, car, house, wife, ministry,….. Etc., will come to Me”. We will never be able to handle what the Father has not given to us. We will never be able to help those whom whom Father has not allotted to our ministry. If we gather people just to show off that we are ministering to many, it is evil and covetousness and God hates it. We must never be jealous if we see that people have things that we don’t have. We should recognize that all that the Father has given to us will come to us.
And the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.:This is a great comfort that gives us assurance of our salvation. If you have come to Jesus, you can be sure that He will fulfill His part. He will never cast you out. Is there anyone of you not sure of your salvation? His there anyone who is yet to believe that He or she has been saved? You can take this verse. Jesus says, if you have come to Him, He will never cast you out. No matter how great a Sinner you are, no matter how much you have Fallen even after you are born again. Come to Him in Repentance and brokenness and He will never cast you out. His hands are always wide open to welcome you. He will never cast you away. I remember how it took me so long to get assurance that I am saved. But Jesus says clearly, “If you have come to Me, I will never cast you away”. The reason why people will go to hell is that they did not come to Christ. If they had come to Christ, He will never cast them away. If only Judas had come to Jesus to confess His Sins instead of going to the chief priest, He would have been Forgiven. Let us therefore be strongly assured that if we have come to Christ, He will never cast us away!!!
Dear friend, All that the Father gives to you will come to you? Put your mind at ease. Don’t be worried about what the Father has not given to you. No man can receive anything unless it is given by God. Be content with what the Lord has allotted for you and never lose your joy if something you anticipated never become yours. And never forget this, “no matter now deep into Sin you have Fallen, if you come to Christ, He will cast you away. He is waiting greatly to receive you. Come my Dear Friend, please come!!!”. God bless you. Have a blessed day.
