Rapture Immediately after the Great Tribulation!!!

Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away……. Matthew 24:29-35
In our previous studies, We have been considering the Signs of the Last days and the Coming of the Lord. We saw the Great Tribulation that will happen just before the second coming of the Lord and He warned His Disciples not to believe those who will teach that Jesus would come in some secret way where only a few will know. This was in response to the questions that the Disciples asked Jesus. Here, we read of the the Coming of Christ Himself and the Rapture of the Elect to Him.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER the TRIBULATION of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. THEN the sign of the SON OF MAN WILL APPEAR IN HEAVEN., and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His ANGELS with a great sound of a TRUMPET , and they will GATHER TOGETHER His ELECT from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.: Here Jesus speaks about a very short period within the twinkling of the eyes(1 Corinthians 15:52) IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE GREAT TRIBULATION, all these will happen. There are many things in Scripture that are very different from the way we have understood them from Childhood. It is very easy to approach Scripture with a prejudice mind. To believe that Scripture teaches something which we have always believed. And then when we come across a verse, that seems to contradicts what we have always believed, we are always tempted to twist that Scripture to fit our understanding. This is extremely dangerous. This is an indication that we do not love the Truth, that we are not Humble enough to acknowledge that our previous understanding may be have been in error. And this is how many remain ignorant about the Truth but if only we would accept Scriptures as it is and change our understanding accordingly, then it would be easy. For Here it says, IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION,…… THEN THE SON OF MAN WILL APPEAR. That is when the Angels will GATHER THE ELECT. The Elect are not the Jews, rather, they are the ones He has chosen, those who God has elected to be His Children. He is referring to the Disciples of Jesus who will be gathered to Him after they have gone through that Tribulation and be faithful to the Lord as witnesses in it. And This GREAT TRUMPET is the one Paul speaks of in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 which says, ” For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a SHOUT, with the voice of an ARCHANGEL, and with the TRUMPET of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP TOGETHER with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” Do you notice the same expression with that recorded in Matthew?. So we see here that this trumpet is going to sound when Jesus comes and everyone is going to see Him. This is not a secret Rapture of the Saints. Jesus said it clearly that, ” For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.(Matt 24:27)”. We shall be caught up to Meet Him when He comes, when every eyes shall see Him IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION. It is so crystal clear!!! I don’t know how Satan manage to fool millions of Christians to believe that Jesus is coming back IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE GREAT TRIBULATION. I think the reason is that they don’t study the Bible. They just believe what some Preacher says or what they read in a book or Bible Commentaries. If You have Bible written in a Language you can read and understand and Yet You don’t read it, then You deserved to be Deceived. I want to encourage You dear friend to read the Bible and then you will never be deceived.
Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! . Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of Heaven , but My Father only.: No one knows when Christ is coming back again. And Even When Jesus was on Earth as a Man, Even He does not know the exact date of His return to Earth. It was something that was hidden from his understanding when He was on Earth. But now that Jesus had gone back to the Right Hand of the Father He knows. I noted this because there are people who still says Jesus does not know when He is coming back. Now He knows but while He was on Earth as a Man, He did not know. No Man knows the exact date and time and it is Useless trying to predict when it would happen as soon have done. But He says, “You will know when He is near at the Door!!!” So there are two facts here. One, We do not know the exact Day and Hour but we shall know when He is near if we are spiritually awake and study the Scriptures. We shall know when these things begins to happen. Which things?

You remember the Fig tree refer to the nation of Israel? In previous Study, we read that Jesus came to a Fig tree looking for fruits but found only leaves and He cursed that Fig tree and it withered up (Matt 18:-19). This fig tree is a picture of Israel whom Jesus came looking for fruits that would glorify God and He didn’t find such fruits in Israel. What did He find in Israel? He found Religion and Religious activities. And that Nation was Cursed. They had turned against the Son of God. Crucified Him and 40 years later, they withered up as a nation scattered all over the Earth. Now we ready that the Fig tree that Jesus cursed is going to bring forth Leaves again and not fruits. Which means the the Nation of Israel is going to come back as a Nation and start its religious activities again. And we have seen these happened in our age. In 1948, the Nation of Israel came back into the Land that God had given to Abraham.

So Jesus was saying, “When You see the Fig leaves bringing forth Leaves, You know that summer is near” so when we see these things happening, we must recognize that Jesus is near. He is at the door. The door has not been opened, but He is now at the door. These is the Generation that sees these things. In 1967, the nation of Israel finally came to the hands of the Jews.

Today, God’s people are the Children of God, there are no Jews or Gentiles. But Jesus used these signs to warn us that when we see these things happening, remember that Jesus is near. So these things that are happening right in our age are something that are warnings to us that the coming of our Lord is near and we should be ready for it. We do not know the exact day and hour that the Lord is coming but one thing we know from what is happening around us is that He is near. Don’t be among the scoffers who says, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.(2 Peter 3:4)”. Behold, He is coming!!!
Dear Friend, we shall see the Lord immediately after the Tribulation of those days. If you are not faithful in little things, How will You be faithful in time of Tribulation? Behold, He is at the door, set matters right. May the Good God give us Grace to endure to the very end. (Amen). God bless you. Have a blessed day.
